Struck by the Sugar Plum Fairy

Ironically, this year I have had sparse moments to leisurely bake holiday favorites, but it's a first that I have spent so much time baking at work. Luckily with my busy schedule, I still get my baking fix this holiday season, sans the comfy sweats and blaring holiday music, I have been pushed out of my go-to holiday dessert boundaries by  exploring new textures and seasonal flavors.
